WCHA got back to my tweet:
There are still some details that are being finalized. But we are very excited about the direction we are going with streaming.
Which didn't quite answer my question to them of how to purchase a season pass...

You'd think they'd be a little more receptive to a question that involves you purchasing a product they help produce.

I got a similar reply as well. I found a clip on YouTube from the WCHA describing how this year's games will be presented. No details about pricing yet.

So before the media polls get out here's my picks. I doubt the media knows any more than the fans do, usually less if you ask me.

                10 Huntsville- maybe 4 wins.
                9. Bemidji- a really, really hard schedule
                8. Lssu- Better team but, well we'll see, tough schedule, especially on the road
                7. Alaska- lost a lot. Even if they can replace it, schedule not that favorable
                6. UAA- Might be a better team, but everyone in the league is a better team except one or two. Will be real tough at home.
                5. BGSU- Lost some good players. Schedule fairly neutral.
                4. NMU- real good team, but tougher schedule than some.
                3. MTU- typical homer pick
                2. Ferris- only because of how easy the schedule is, not because I think they will be good, because I don't. Won't be that tough on the road.
                1. Mankato- A lot of talent, schedule not easy though.

                MTU: Three time NCAA champions.

I like the pre-season predictions, because it means the season's almost here! So here goes nothing
                  1. Kato - If not, we have no excuses
                  2. Ferris - Winning begets winning. There's a big talent dropoff from last year, but the seniors know how to win.
                  3. UAA - I think Thomas has them on the verge of something good.
                  4. Tech - See the Ferris comments, only just the opposite. There's more talent here than at least a couple of the teams I've picked ahead of them, but if they don't start producing soon, losing close ones is going to become a habit.
                  5. BGSU - Lost a lot, but still have a lot
                  6. UAF - Lost a lot, but don't have quite as much.
                  7. NMU - Manure, I respect your opinions on teams from the UP, and maybe I'm just missing something, but I don't see it.
                  8. LSSU - New coach, new attitude? Hey, it can't be worse
                  9. BSU - I wouldn't be stunned to see them in the top 5, but I'll be even less stunned to see them in the bottom 3
                  10. Huntsville - I'm guessing 6 wins

I'll give it a shot from the banks of the St Mary's...

10 Alabama Huntsville: They'll be improved, but still have a long way to go
9 LSSU: I don't know where Manure sees a better team here. 3 freshmen goalies, lost 2 of top the scorers and only have 2 decent D back
8 Bemidji: Pretty much the same as last year
7 UAF: This is where teams start to get very closely bunched.
6 UAA: Goaltending is a huge question mark
5 Bowling Green: This is a team that could rise as high as 3rd or fall as far as 7th
4 Michigan Tech: Can Phillips seize the #1 goalie job? This is a team that could be much improved, but at worst stay about the same as a year ago
3 NMU: Had six newcomers over 15 points a year ago and a solid freshman goalie who now has a year under his belt
2: Ferris: This is another team that could win it, or could be on the road for round one, but with CJ Motte, they get #2 until someone takes it away
1: Minnesota State: Offense + Defense + Special Teams + Goaltending = Success

Just curious, how many members of the media who will vote in the poll do you know? Did you do more or less research on all of the individual teams prior to voting?

I think that a big failing of the media poll last year was that the list of voters wasn't available. I admit that I was playing darts last year, but I sure feel like I have a better handle on the league after a season of seeing the talent.

Marty Slagter from the Big Rapids paper is gone. I'm guessing Bob Allen replaced him for voting. I'm also guessing Bob Allen has never seen a hockey puck before in his life.
