....from everything I’ve been told by people out of Lincoln, the Prapavessis family is huge on education. Praps will be here....how long, who knows. I’ld guess 3years. FWIW, the Edmonton Oil Kings lost their HC today. He took the vacant Texas Stars (AHL) job today.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

I do think MP will be in RPI this fall. As turk wrote we can't be sure how long he will stay.

You may have inside info on Dillon. I don't, but anything could still happen.

I have never written that either was not going to Troy, but I remain concerned. WaP also seems concerned.

Hey kids - I'm looking to fill A 2ND foursome for the golf outing and am one body short. If anyone is interested, drop me a line....no pressure golf with our crowd, just enough skill to keep it interesting and the rest of us play the "ringers" tee shot !

I doubt the NCAA makes a distinction between what the coaches are allowed to comment on and what can be included in press releases from the Athletic Department (what a loophole that would be!). My guess is that either Dillon has signed an LOI (permitting public comments about him) or the rules for hockey are different than other sports (possible given the dramatically different recruiting environment). In either case, I'm sure our coaches and AD are aware of the relevant limitations and complying appropriately.

It wasn't a press release, just a tweet, and conceivably was written by an intern.

That means little, as the intern is still an official representative of the school. As for the rules, they are not different for hockey. There must be a NLI involved.

I agree completely, but he is less likely to know the rules.

                    From the directory:

                    Name: Evan Federico Tironese

Well it wasn't academics that is keeping from RPI in the Fall. Liljegren is still missing.

USHL 30 man roster & Affiliate lists; Carlos Fornaris is on CRs 30 man & Jacob Hayhurst is on Affiliate......Meirs Moore is not listed on Fargos roster, assume he will play for Janesville in the NAHL.....Austin Cho is on Lincolns Affiliate list.......Alex Rodriguez is on SCs 30 man roster......Alec Dillon is on Tri-Citys 30 man roster (1 of only 2 goalies listed)......Charley Manley is on Waterloos 30 man roster.....and just for the connection, Shawn Knowlton is on the Chicago Steel Affiliate list. Teams will cut down to 23 man rosters after the USHL Fall Classic (Sept.15-20)........ http://cdn1.vox-cdn.com/assets/47390...ctedjuly14.pdf

Thanks. So it looks like Dillon will play in the USHL. That's the only thing that is at all surprising. I suspect that we will see Hayhurst and Cho there next season.
