On Sunday, the Waterloo Black Hawks defeated the Green Bay Gamblers 4-2. Drew Melanson had no points or penalties. Evan Tironese had an elbowing penalty. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2234543

Melanson's Waterloo line is now 55-16-27-43-4
    His total is 57-16-27-43-14.
    Tironese's line is now 54-10-27-37-125.

This loss hurts Green Bay's (Tironese) chances in a four-way battle for the last playoff spot with two games remaining now. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...seasonid=11221. They certainly can still make it, but their chances are diminished. Waterloo (Melanson), Sioux Falls (Nanne), and Cedar Rapids (Fornaris) are in, and Fargo (Moore) was eliminated fairly long ago.

It's a pretty early game for the BCHL, but I will post the Vernon-Coquitlam playoff game summary in the morning (unless I get insomnia earlier ). http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_bo...3007&link=bchl

Because Cho and Hayhurst are about the same age and both live in Mississauga, I wondered if they had ever played together. So I Googled both of their names together. Among references to this thread, that came up.
