Luckily you can watch WCHA.TV on your mobile device, tablet,...

Ok that's twice this week I've pimped myself to pitch the WCHA's product.
If I do it again, they will have to start paying me, at least on a commission basis.

Good point. Totally agree on that one.

You're pretty close to my initial guesses. In fact, our top two lines are identical.

    Johnstone-Pietila-Sturos
    Gillies-T. Kero-Petan
    Eick-Neville-Steman
    Hietala-Anderson-L'Esperance
    Travelling: Heinonen

    Watson-Hanna
    Roy-Sweeney
    Leibinger-Auk
    Travelling: Hyland

    Phillips
    D. Kero

But, I could also see Steman as the 4th line C.

Minnesota's underrated. But so are Mankato, BU, and Tech.

As long as we're getting close here is what I expect to see on Saturday:

I feel really good about these 2 lines:

    David Johnstone-Blake Pietila-Reid Sturos
    Alex Gillies-Tanner Kero-Alex Petan

I feel decent about this 3rd line:
    C.J. Eick-Mike Neville-Blake Hietala

I feel like Steman is the 4th center with Gould, Heinonen, L'Esperance...maybe Evan Anderson fighting for the last 2 forward spots.

With so little practice before these important games, I think they lean towards experience and god with Heinonen-Steman-Gould

The defensemen will likely paired like this:
    Cliff Watson-Riley Sweeney
    Chris Leibinger-Shane Hanna
    Matthew Roy-Walker Hyland

CHN mentioned Michigan Tech as a distant 2nd best recruiting class in the WCHA behind Minnesota State.

FYI - That is NOT the official Twitter account for LSSU Hockey. @HockeyLSSU is.

That's more of a Michigan thing... most of their success was in the 1950s but they love to talk up all the titles they've won.
For 22 straight years, they had a 1 in 16 chance (up until 2003 a 1 in 12 chance) at winning a championship and they captured a grand total of TWO.

For comparison, a few who have made the most of their opportunities:

    60% -- 6 in 10 Michigan (1948 - 1957)
    33% -- 3 in 10 LSSU
    33% -- 3 in 10 MTU
    29% -- 7 in 24 Denver
    25% -- 1 in 4 Union
    24% -- 7 in 29 UND
    23% -- 6 in 26 Wisconsin
    22% -- 2 in 9 RPI
    17% -- 1 in 6 Yale
    ---
    8% -- 2 in 25 Michigan (1958 - Present)
    5% -- 1 in 21 Harvard
    0% -- 0 in 20 Clarkson
    0% -- 0 in 22 UNH
