As for UW, no doubt they aren't seven goals worse than BC. York even said that post game. Even great teams have off nights. UW is and will be fine. My guess is they bounce back strong tomorrow.

Anyone who has watched Wisconsin play more than once also should be able to realize how uncharacteristic this was of their team.
It's exactly what UMass-Lowell did in the NCAA tournament last season to the Badgers. There's no question in my mind opposition speed/transition is a serious issue right now. How will Eaves and the coaching staff react? I guess we'll see. If they can't stop speed, Wisconsin is absolutely f'ed. I'd love to just say this is a one time thing, but after watching UMass-Lowell last year take UW to the woodshed, I'm convinced this is something UW doesn't have an answer for.

Look forward to the Gophers playing both this season.

I see where he's coming from. "We played poorly" can come off as simply an excuse when the nature of sports is you win or you lose, and the better team that night is the winner. Not trying to troll. I just hate losing and would rather be ****ed when it happens than have to think about it on a deeper level (which you have to do when you have to write about it).

Don't you have some 15 year old recruits to suck up to or hassle when they don't pick the Gophers?

Chuck, no need to defend yourself. As a BC fan, I thought Wisconsin put forth one of the worst performances I've ever seen.

But I agree. York has generally had his way with the what was WCHA elite in recent history. No denying that.Last edited by mnstate0fhockey; 10-18-2013, 11:57 PM.
