What is the story with the red, white, and silver jerseys Miami sent to the NCHC office?

I don't now, but they are ugly (IMO). They also look like the cheap replicas they are likely selling in the hockey shop at the ice arena.

Is it true that our regular jerseys were the wrong color of red out of the box? Are they a new design this year?

Can't confirm it, but that seems to be the story behind the really cheap-looking replicas the team was wearing for the exhibition game. Or maybe they just wanted to wait to reveal the new sweaters until we had a full house for the OSU game!

Rico alluded to a few players being nicked up in his preseason presser, guessing Coleman was one of them. Sounds like everyone is expected to be 100% by next weekend.

Random thoughts from the exhibition game:

I liked Max Cook on the top line with Czarnik and Barber
Czarnik and Barber ... amazing chemistry and skill
Williams scares me every time he decides to handle the puck but he made some great glove saves
Mckay gave up some juicy rebounds. Looked to be fighting it a little
Loved the penalty kill and effort in the defensive zone
got caught out of position too many times when the puck was deep
unconventional zone entries ftw
where was blake coleman?
Mullin and Kuraly look faster and stronger

I wasn't watching the freshman as much as I should have been.

Team looked to be buzzing around last night against some weak competition. Liked the pressure they applied and how many scoring opportunities they created. A little let down for that 10 seconds was the only downside to last night.
