There's a steady stream of announcements and shocked reactions to DI hockey players signing with pro teams before their college eligibility has expired. More often than not the immediate destination of these players is not given, nor the terms of their contract. In order for college hockey fans to consider who's the culprit in these cases - the players, the NCAA, the NHL, or Junior Hockey [and how best to reduce early exits] more information is needed in these announcements.
