    New recruit for Lowell.

    Nicholas Marin out of the Springfield Pics. He's an August 1995 so 21 when he enters Lowell.

    the hardest thing about the stockpiling is its all verbal commitment... so you could certainly have more commits than scholies (not even getting into the reality that teams often offer a couple but not all of the years) but then what happens when you burn players.

    The answer is there is no answer to the stockpile... maybe you change the contact age to 17?

    That being said, I have no problem sharpening up the hard cut-off age. Make it a certain date beyond costs you a year. I see no reason to go all the way to 18... because no other sport would accept that anyways. Even 20 is a start... and I know there's a point where the clock auto runs anyways... like 22.

    The recruits arriving in 2016-2019 could not exceed 18.
    2017-20 could not exceed 18.
    etc.

    If Junior wants to commit today to arriving in 2022, then he will count in the 2019-22 cohort.

    That would be interesting, but I doubt the B1G would be interested considering they are getting verbals from 13 year olds
