Name one "dance" done by the student section that happens while the puck is in play. (I'll ignore the cheering stuff, because if you can't watch a game while you cheer, you might have issues with your cognitive abilities.)
I've been asked to move on from the discussion and I am going to be respectful and do so. But I will answer your question. I already provided an example - The Dance/Cheer you do during power plays (there are some movements involved). It's creative and looks like everyone is having fun. I would just prefer people watch the game. No right or wrong, just difference of opinion. I was just trying to understand why people are so upset about crack downs on cheers. Isn't the hockey game fun enough?

Moving on now. Your comment seemed genuine and I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you.

There is no dance/cheer DURING the powerplay. Once the penalty is called and there is the break in play for the officials to escort the offending party to the timeout chair and workout the paperwork....there is a cheer that occurs which involves some hand jestures. Given your track record of trolling Badger threads...most probably suspect you are crying wolf and have no interest in explain that to you.

I always notice people in the student section leaning forward and back when doing that chant that they do thruought the power play. Maybe you don't classify that as "dancing", but it is the type of coordinated movements that I was referring to.

I thought you were "moving on."

I don't know Degenhardt personally. I only know the heart and grit he showed on that '06 title team. But I'm happy to know that he has a great wife/family and a supportive team/organization behind him. With that help and that kind of determination, he can make a lot out of a rough (even if it is manageable) situation.

                  Best wishes for Degs.

Thanks for the link as well. Tough story. I would just point out that although MS is not definitively hereditary as the article states, there is definitely a genetic component (it tends to run in families) in addition to an environmental one. I ride in that 150-mile BikeMS ride every year as well. MS runs in my family and it is what I work on in the lab.

Wishing all the best to A.J. Degenhardt. That line he played on in with Nick Licari and Andy Brandt in 2005-06 is one of the most underrated lines in Badgers history. They didn't see the most minutes as a fourth line, but they were tone-setters in many contests that season en route to the natty title.

That line was HUGE (yes, even Licari) and a joy to watch.

I loved that line and Licari remains one of my personal all time favorites to watch.

The shifts they had in the 3OT game were so great to watch. One of the great Badger lines of all time.

The Athletic Dept just sent out another e-mail blast for season tickets.

I'll give them credit for the obvious desperation. This is no less than the third e-mail I've received about season tickets this off-season. It might be time for me to reply. Do I just reply to the general tickets@uwbadgers.com or should I also be a complete jerk and copy Frazier on it?
