ok, so I checked, 30 games played for Lincoln for Riley; 9g...9a...69 SOG. Last 30 games for Drew; 8g...10a...39SOG.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Hopefully just being rested since the game is meaningless.

Lincoln's playoff schedule depends upon whom they play. The next game is either 4/16 or 4/17. I am too lazy to determine if the opponent is now determined with certainty. http://www.lincolnstars.com/leagues/...793&page=69629

Waterloo won tonight 3-2 in a SO. They have 1 game left, Sunday............If Waterloo wins their final two games this weekend (both road games against the last-place Indiana Ice), the Blackhawks will finish in third place, regardless if Lincoln wins both games against the Storm. In that scenario, Waterloo (as the #3 seed) would face the Fargo Force (#2 seed) in the first round of the playoffs.

If Lincoln can finish in third place, they would face the Fargo Force in the first round. If Lincoln and Waterloo somehow end up tied in points after this weekend, the Stars would win the tiebreaker (head-to-head against the Blackhawks) and will face Fargo in the first round. So there is still a lot riding on these last couple of games
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Did they change the USHL playoff format AGAIN?! I thought it was top 6 for each division; it's now just top 4?

Although the game wasn't meaningless, I do believe the Stars scratched Bourbonnais and DeVito to give them some rest. I saw both walking around the concourse before the game and they looked healthy.

Hoping for good performances by Wood, Bourbonnais, and DeVito in the upcoming playoffs for the Stars.

Yes, they changed it for this season...but the league has already stated it will go back to the top 6 in each conference for next season. They can't make up their minds.

Personally, I like the current setup (top four teams). The teams that deserve to be in the playoffs are there. Six from each conference is too many, and will most often include teams with sub .500 records.

I realized that it wasn't meaningless after turk's post, but I forgot to change it. Thanks.
