(although i do expect him to be shooting more as he progresses)
You're right. He doesn't shoot that much, and consequently he has the highest shooting percentage on teh team http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...&seasonid=9358 and fifth hghest on the league http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...58&sortby=spct.

Watching about a dozen Edina games this year I haven't seen much of an offensive input from Reno....not to say he can't become capable at it. As far as stepping into that role next year I'm still confident that might be Hampton.
He is defintely played a primarily defensive role. I expect Dolan and perhaps Hampton to attempt to fill Bailen's role, but more likely, besides for blasts from teh point, we won't rely on dmen scoring much.

Perhaps it's a good thing that we don't have a roving D-man? You can almost tell that D-corps that don't stay home drives Appert and Vines crazy. If Reno is playing the stay-at-home nothing-gets-by-you type with a solid one-timer, I'd be happy.
Yep, main thread topic. Even better will be in the offseason -- starting in April.

....just throwing this out there. The U-17 NTDP Evaluation Camp Roster is out.....might be 1 or 2 to keep an eye out for later http://www.usantdp.com/news_article/...rrer_id=666974

Obviously, we have a rather small sample of two, but the ones to watch are the NY ones, although some are probably committed already.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of our committed recruits whose seasons have ended might show up this weekend at the HFH. (Also others?)

Yes, Jeremy Bracco. He played for Portledge & I've seen him play the last 2 years vs Alb. Acad. Plus a game with the LI Gulls. The kid is an absolute magician with the puck on his stick and his saucer passes are pinpoint. All this while he was 14 & 15 yrs. old.....amazing talent.
