He looks and sounds like a young Seth Appert. For those of us starting to get on in years "young Seth Appert" still sounds redundant, but 7 years in Troy can age a man.

            All Minnesotans sound alike.

Seriously, I didn't think that they looked similar.

Edit: On second thought, they all look alike -- including the women.

An article about Meirs Moore's commitment that states that SA mentioned the 1985 RPI-UMD game when first speaking to Skeeter Moore.

Someone didn't tell the author that Commers has left RPI and Dolan is also from MN. Nice article anyway,

There's a picture in the article. He looks NOTHING like SA. Although, if Joshua Jackson (the guy who played Charlie Conway) were to have a fauxhawk...

Hey now, you have to get away from MPLS/STP to hear the, "Fargo" bit, although we all emphasize the "oooo".

Not that you need the affirmation, but I really think you'll enjoy watching Moore develop. Skilled and heady.

I hope that you are correct. I still am somewhat concerned about his size. Also, just going by his line 9-0-0-0-20, he seems to have had some trouble adapting to the USHL, although he may have not been used in the situations that he was accustomed to. On the other hand Manley seems to have done fairly well in an even shorter stay there.

Edit: Moore was, however, +5 in those nine games.

Sioux City Musketeers announcement about Moore committing to RPI.

Musketeer coaching staff were pleased with the announcement, and . "As an organization we are obviously very proud and excited for Meirs. He will be in a great place at RPI." stated Assistant Coach Keith Paulsen. "Seth Appert has done a great job with the RPI organization, and Meirs will be a great fit for Coach Appert and his team."

Assistant coach Mark Abalan weighed in on Moore's abilities as a player "Meirs is a smart puck moving defenseman who has great offensive instincts and looks to dictate the game from the back end. He always has a positive impact on the game for his team."
