It's that time of year when once a team's season ends it can suffer the loss of one or more underclasssmen to the lure of professional hockey. Which underclass player or players on your favorite team may be leaving once their current team's season is completed?

For Minnesota I'd say....
Bjugstad for sure gone
Haula is like 89% gone
Schmidt probably signs somewhere and is gone
My darkhorse is Condon to leave as well"It ain't over, baby! And that took only six seconds!"
USCHO gives me another reason to not do work while I am at work.

Haula, I would put at more of a 50% chance and here's why. Haula is a Wild prospect. The Wild has a pipeline of very good prospects especially at forward. When the Wild picked up Lucia they designated him a longer term project. I'm not saying Lucia is better than Haula, all I'm saying is that the Wild draft players to let decelop and why pull him out earlier than they need to? Now maybe he decides he doesn't care about his chances of playing in the Bigs right now like Bjugstad, that's why I put him at 50%.
I also really don't see Condon leaving. He's fast and good, but needs a little more time to fully develop to the NHL level.Last edited by GopherFan89; 03-07-2013, 02:20 PM.

Looks like the first one to leave this offseason is Lake State Free Agent Jr. Kellen Lain who signed with Vancouver.

Bill Crawford, LSSU radio announcer, on NMU hockey: "This is their MO right to the tee: get out shot, get out played, keep hangin' in there, just rope-a-dope it in your own zone, get it up the ice, bang it in and win the game."

Players leaving early, including juniors, is much more likely to happen, and something that we see a lot more of.
