I think we witnessed something special last night, something that made me as proud as I've ever been to be a Sioux fan. Despite being hooked, held, tripped, and slashed until the refs had no choice but to start calling some of it, the boys stayed true to their goal of honoring the Badgers as guests and long time rivals by keeping the game even. Clanging pipes, missing high or wide by inches, things that require a level of talent and maturity not often seen in 17 - 19 year-olds. Most important, the Badgers were able to leave the ice thinking they could hang with the big boys without even realizing what had really happened.
That being out of the way, the boys are now free to skin the the bistards alive. Go Sioux.
