He better find them now, and not wait until he gets to Troy. (Apologies to RKarger and REDaero91.)

I never felt the pickings in Troy were any slimmer than anywhere else. Of course we had virtually none at RPI but Russell Sage, Skidmore, SUNY Albany were exceptional places. When I was very young I even spent some time at Emma Willard and Troy High School. But that was a long time ago in a galaxy far away. But then again, I do not think we will see a pictorial in Playboy of the Women Of Troy any time soon. But if things get tough, remember we did have the history of Mame Faye's at one time

I had never heard of her before you mentioned her name and I Googled it. One certainly learns a lot from USCHO.

Edit: I know why the Approach was built.

Now, how can I get this back on topic?

They have now included Parker Reno's assist in yesterday's game in his stats. I fixed the posts.

The game is also available on You-Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zoqh...layer_embedded.

Before we get back on topic-and we of course will-some day i will fill you in on the Old Daley Inn and it's relationship to Mame Faye's. Some of my family were old time upstate NY people (Saratoga area) and filled me in well before I got to Troy.

Silly city guy... Saratoga is at the same latitude as Syracuse (that or thereabouts). Both are south of the latitude of the southern edge of Lake Ontario. Therefore, they are not upstate.

My grandfather, who used to be mayor of Troy and had a 30+ year as a postal carrier, used to deliver mail to Mame Faye's brothel. He used to tell me that was the best stop on his route.

Depends on who you're talking to. NY City people think that Westchester county is upstate.

How long did he stop for?

Very true. I always considered upstate to be anything north of where the Thruway bends west (Albany).

They're ignoramuses when it comes to this state.
