I was talking with Commers after last Sat.'s game & told him to put in a call to STA's Tommy Novak
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

I attended RPI. I don't have a good command of the English language.

Just in case there is someone reading this who actually thought that I meant Albany Academy, St. Thomas Academy will play in the Class AA tourney in Minnesota next season, even though their size qualifies them as Class A, due to the fact that they are just too good. (They do play a lot of Class AA teams during the regular season including Edina whom they defeated.) A 50-3 shot advantage over a team that also won a Sectional tourney is quite ridiculous. Here's the boxscore for that game http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/game/game_sheet/4892342.

There are some sections that, quite frankly, suck (especially in south central and southern Minnesota), but the section Apollo comes out of is usually pretty good. Apollo was kind of a Cinderella though, and STA is pretty monstrous in general.

BTW, most private schools play A because of their size, but they do basically recruit. More of them should nut-up and play AA. Totally have to give props to STA for doing just that.

Assist for Parker Reno on Edina's goal which ties it 1-1 in the 3rd.

There's a Matt Prapavessis at Bemidji, I just noticed. Scored on the Gophers. From Oakville, so... yeah.

And I'm sure Ralph already found this out and mentioned it and will grumpily point this out, perhaps even going so far as to locate and point to the exact post.
