Thanks for the link Alton, it was a great 3rd period and OT to watch live!

Blue had lots of chances there too but Watson kept them out.

Thursday night games tend to do that. No offense, but it's not like this was MSU or another big rival. Typical crowd for a odd night, non conference game. It actually works in the opponent's favor, anyway.

Michigan, what's up against the D-III playups? You lose to "the weakest 4th team in GLI history" in 2009, get whupped by Union last year, and now lose to RIT in overtime.

Sorry, but the lack of dominance must extend. Go tiggers!

It's been quite a few years, and a frozen four run, for both Union and RIT since their playup.

Although I support laughing at Michigan, I would prefer it not be the "wow, you lost to THOSE LOSERS" kind of time.

It's only one game. I expect Michigan to come out ****ed tonight and kick some ***, giving up a lead like that.

And oh look, a goal waved off that would have won Michigan the game. Where have I seen that before?

Well if you stopped swinging at nose-height pucks, maybe you'd have some more success.

At least you didn't have to try to resort to the refs calling 29384789365 penalties on RIT to try to help give you the game.

Fair enough. I only do that because they are probably, if not close to, the winningest program in all of college hockey history, and they seriously only have losing records against now 5 current D-I schools. If we were using your definition, anyone not a Wolverine is a loser.

I do like hearing that you play well against the Western schools, as well as Hockey East. It's always gratifying to see a D-III playup be not only competitive, but successful. That's what makes college hockey special.
