On Friday, the Lincoln Stars defeated the Omaha Lancers 5-1. Jimmy DeVito had no points or penalties. Jake Wood scoed a goal (PPG). Drew Melanson had no points or penalties. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=1978001

The August posts on USHR are now available for free. I don't recall if this was paraphrased or posted in its entirety at the time (and I am too lazy to look ):

Drew Melanson, 1/10/95, 5-11/160 — Delbarton product is an exceptional skater who is really light on his feet. Is very slight right now which could affect his ability to hold off opponents in the USHL this season as he will suit up for Omaha. NHL teams are looking five to six years down the road, and surely by then the RPI recruit will have bulked up and enhanced his game-breaking speed.

Riley Bourbonnais is on the pregame roster for Sioux City . It looks like he will still wear #23.

Much as I hate to say it-freshman year food at RPI was an improvement on my mother's cooking. A really great lady, but she should have never been allowed in the kitchen.
