For 46 years, Jones, who led the 1965-66 team in scoring with 20 points, has held the distinction of being the lowest scoring team high scorer (if that term makes sense) in modern RPI hockey history.
Nick Bailen has finally surpassed him, as his four points tonight raise his total to 22 for this year.

Ed Weaver's article http://www.troyrecord.com/articles/2...mode=fullstory
After Nick Tremblay's 16th goal gave Clarkson a 1-0 lead on a power play, the Engineers stunned the Golden Knights and their fans with four goals in 5:44.That is to say we scored four goals in 12:17 - 5:44 = 6:33, not 5:44.

BTW, congrats on the Eli victory. Yale was the only home team that won this evening in the ECACH.

Re: RPI 2011-12 Part VI: Sweet Meteor of Death
Of course, RPI only played 22 games that year. It took Bailen 35 games to outscore Jones. So, which one is worse?
Anyway, just wanted to be the first one in here to congratulate the Engineers on their 5-1 win this evening. One down, one to go...
