Would love to see them play them this year or in future years. It is just so hard to judge unless they go up against that kind of talent.

They did, of course, play other talented teams from out of state this year. SSM is quite unique judging by the future NHL talent that passes through.

On Tuesday, the Delbarton School defeated Morristown-Beard 6-1 in the semifinals of the NJSIAA Tournament (Non-Public Division). Drew Melanson did not dress. http://highschoolsports.nj.com/game/score/1252699/

Zalewski's line is now 58-36-36-72-81.

That eliminates Vernon from playoff consideration.

We were very disappointed at Mennen Arena not getting to see Melanson play. At the time no one was saying anything about an injury. They play again Friday against Christian Brothers academy-who although Delbarton handled them easily earlier in the year, really is a pretty good team. Just hoping Melanson can play in that one-although Jen and i will not be going up to Newark for the games.

Edit: An assist was awarded later to Bradley.

Poinstreak now shows that Bradley was credited with an assist in the game last night, and I believe his line should read as follows: 43-5-12-17-10.

Melanson isn't mentioned at all in this preview http://www.nj.com/hssports/blog/boys...03/post_1.html. I guess it means that he probably isn't playing this evening.

Very odd to not be mentioned at all. At least he should have been mentioned as being out due to injury. They are the third and last game being played tonight in Newark-the two public school division finals come earlier.
