As much as it pains me to say it, got to wonder why Andy Iles didn't get named top dog in goal. What...4-5 shutouts in a row in a tough ECAC this season? Alex Evin of 'Gate would be a big vote getter (leading the nation in GAA) but hasn't played enough minutes

I think Patterson won out because he has impressive stats all around, and has played in every single game for Minnesota. Iles received one vote for the award, and if he continues his impressive play in the second half of the season, he could very well wind up with the award at the end of the year.
