Sorry this thread is lame UNO has it's own message board and that is where most of the fans post. This should be an entertaining series. UNO finally got the beaver off their back with a tie and a win last weekend! Archibald is a 17 year old straight out of high school and he is having a bigger impact than any of us thought. Broadhurst has been a beast so far this year, not sure who will be in goal but I'm sure Faulkner will be in net one night, the other night it could be Massa or Ed Belfour's kid Dayne who has shown flashes of brilliance in his time in net.
    Unleash the fury!

Not your fault. There are more posts about the pep band than the hockey team on DU’s blog.

Knowing virtually nothing about him, I can't believe Ed's son plays at UNO. You'd think he'd land at a more traditional hockey school, if not at "Dakota" like his father. I hope we see some stability in Denver's lines this week. Makes me nervous when the Coaches start moving people around on the bench, in-game. DU also needs to stop conducting stickhandling drills when the opponent is penalized.... ugh.....passing back and forth, back and forth, everyone gets a turn, tape to tape up in the circles...very frustrating..... shoot. the. puck!!!
I want to be a fan of the best team in college hockey - so that explains why I am a DENVER fan!

Mascot stuff aside, we are looking for DU to step it up from last week.
Anyone out there know the Gwoz vs. Blais record? I've got paperwork to file and wood to haul today and am simply tooo laisey to do it myself...
Think DU vs UNO/Gwoz vs Blais have only met 2 times. 1-1
From the DU website, which goes back to 2000-2001 season for game by game score. Blais last year at UND was 2003-2004
              '01 0-3-1
              '02 1-1-0
              '03 2-2-1
'04 1-3-1 (DU's win was the Regional Semi-Final on the road to NCAA Championship)

Blais has the advantage for this period.

I'm sure alot of the reason Dayne came to UNO is because of Coach Blais, he did coach Ed at North Dakota. Looking forward to some great games this weekend, wish I could have made the trip out.

Viz, if you go to the DU website and open up the 2011/12 media guide, all of DU's game scores from Day 1 are in there. If you know what years Blais coached at UND, you will be able to figure each year out.
