In reply to the last few posts in Part II:

As far as I know, we get 25 comped tickets to the games we play at, and then we have to buy extras for buffer space around the band. The statement about the Union not paying for extra tickets was in general, not specifically for the Lake Placid games. It came up this year when the band planned to travel with the women's team for a day trip to UConn, who told us we weren't allowed to play after the time to cancel the bus had come. We tried to go simply to be a cheering section for the team, but since we couldn't get comped tickets and we weren't playing, the Union said no to letting us go.

Let us hope that this thread begins to bring us some better luck and a lot more goals.

We didn't win a single game while using that thread.

I expect at least one win for RPI this weekend. I have a feeling they're going to be quite pumped up/angry/hopped up on adrenaline/SA is not happy and the Bulldogs are going to encounter quite a physical team come Friday night in Troy.
Hockey is serious business. Everything else is just a game.

RPI Hockey, Syracuse Football, New York Rangers, New York Giants.

We didn't win a single game while on the Offseason threads, either. I smell a trend...

That's the last time I start a season thread.

Wow, even I'm now starting to wonder why I'm making excuses...

Laliberte likely in the lineup this weekend, Neal likely out according to Ken Schott.

Wow. I did not realize that. Burgdoerfer should replace Laliberte in the box score.

Also, Rabbani is listed as a defenseman, despite playing as a 13th forward.

Maybe I should do a sanity check when plugging the box scores into the PtC spreadsheet next week.

If only Rabbani scored... :P And yes, Greg B did play.

Good to see one more boy back-but of concern is the extent of the Neal injury. Ankle injuries usually are not as problematic for hockey players as knee injuries. This must have been a significant injury. Here's hoping he is indeed back soon.

The games this weekend will be big for the team and its collective psyche...I'm sure coach has imparted their importance on the team and they take it seriously. This team is tough. talented and focused...their time is coming...oh, and thanks for picking my title, Ralph (no 'offense' to any of the other submissions )

I smell a sweet sweep this weekend. 3-2 against Yale and 2-1 against Brown. We're Yale's daddy. Brown is the one that worries me the most out of the two.
