I hadn't realized that Miller was a co-captain. SA likes that, and I agree, but I wouldn't mind getting players who lead by example, even if the only letters on their sweaters are R, P, and I.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were getting their names from CH and adding data from elsewhere.

That's not off-topic at all, because it's an important thing we need in recruits, even if the jersey does not yet have the letters R, P, and I (and obviously we hope they do in the future).

And this is not a bad Christian Brothers team down here in NJ. Delbarton is just so far above all the other teams here. They are loaded with talent yet Melanson stands out more and more each time we have seen him. I would venture to guess there are at least 5 on this team that could eventually end up in NCAA Division I hockey.

An extremely well coached team. They just seem to reload every year. At the games Jenny and i have attended there are almost always college representatives (especially the Ivies with Yale there virtually every game). Also therre seems to be an NHL scout or 2 watching them at most games. With the games being very sparsely attended-we sometimes get to talk with these people a bit.

We've been to two Delbarton games-one at home and one on the road. We are hoping to go to at least one more in the near future. The level of hockey this high school level team plays is surprising. I have not seen NJ team like this since way back in the 80's with Brick High School when they were dominating the public school league. That was when players like Jim Dowd played there (later of the NJ Devils after LSSU) and of course where our own Cindy Acropolis played on the boys team.
