On Saturday, the Youngstown Phantoms defeated the Moines Buccaneers 7-5. Chris Bradley had an interference penalty. Jason Kasdorf saved 22 of 27 shots in 42:40. http://ushl.stats.pointstreak.com/bo...gameid=1660517

Gunnery played two games on Friday at the Christmas Classic. First game they beat Berkshire Prep 4-2 and the second game they lost 3-1 to St. Pauls. USHR has neither boxscore up yet. They play again today in the third place game against Trinity-Pawling.

On Friday, Gunnery lost to St. Paul's 3-1. Jake Wood had no points.

Wood's line is now 7-2-3-5-x

Still no boxscore up for the Berkshire game.

I would think Delbarton survived their first real test of this season. We are hoping to get a chance to see them play for the first time this season soon. Anxious to see the maturation of Melanson from last year.

USHR actually has this game listed as a scrimmage, which I failed to realize so I dont think they will post the results of the game.

Jake Wood's stats are all up do date, Gunnery doesnt play again until Dec. 29th.

Heres a recap of this game from ESPN Boston's High School Report. Sounds like Delbarton will be playing Malden on a yearly basis from now on.

The Green Wave, however, continued to apply the pressure and found the equalizing goal with 2:34 remaining in the second period, thanks to a two-on-one break where Drew Melanson crossed the puck over to Johnny Baiocco ,who stuck the puck into the Malden Catholic net passed a diving Maloney.
