On Saturday, the Delbarton School beat Christian Brothers 8-0. Drew Melanson had two assists. http://highschoolsports.nj.com/game/score/1161312/

Melanson's line is now 1-0-2-2-x.

We had been told that CBA was vastly improved this year and would be a difficult test for Delbarton. Guess not! Delbarton has been just overwhelming the past few years and gets some of the best talent in NJ. But more important, these kids get great coaching and can usually adapt to the NCAA very quickly. I will be seeing them a couple of times this year and will try to report back on Melanson if we see him play.

On Sunday, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders lost to the USNTDP U17 team 2-1. Riley Bourbonnais scored a goal. He was named #2 star. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=1660459

Bourbonnais' line is now 16-6-3-9-6.

On Saturday, Gunnery Prep defeated Tabor Academy 5-2 in the semi-finals of the Phillips Exeter Invitational. Jake Wood scored a goal.
