Just checked for you. Not up on USHR yet. I will post it on here when it is up. Prep school seasons don't typically start until late November / early December.

What am I missing...why is AA playing a lot of games at HFH?? They have a rink...

Nothing really, just the one word that was left out of the sentence.. .(AS) for AA playing @ HFH......it was in response to RB's question about them playing games at HFH. They only play 1 game there.

In light of RPI's current inability to score/win, if you're an upper-end D-1 prospect are you thinking, "no way I'm going there" or "man, I could really help that team". Commitments are coming rapidly at this time of season, see CH's site.

I would guess a top prospect would want to go to a team that has a good chance of making the NCAA tournament to be on display and get a little more exposure.

Not that RPI really used the team for recruiting but the CD Selects are in the process of being sold and moved to Fairfield County in CT. I wonder if Salfi is just calling it quits or if its possible the team is being told to leave the fieldhouse after the season is over and have no place else to play. This was from USHR last week:

A group out of Connecticut, headed up by Eric Lind and Ryan Hughes, is in the process of purchasing the Capital District Selects from Jim Salfi and moving the franchise to Fairfield County.

The team, which is commanding a reported asking price of between $500-600K, will play in Norwalk, Conn., at the soon-to-be under construction SoNo Ice House, located in a former warehouse at 310 Wilson Ave. in Norwalk, Conn. Lind, who played at Avon Old Farms and UNH, grew up in Norwalk.

The group recently got zoning approval from the city, and expect to open the arena next summer.

There are still some hoops to jump through, however. The league had long wanted to put a franchise in the Fairfield County area, but Apple Core, citing its 75-mile protective zone, always fought it. So the league responded by changing the rules, recently voting to shrink the zone to 25 miles.

The move still needs to be voted on by EJHL owners. Out of 14 voters, 10 are needed for approval. Look for Apple Core to fight it.
