On Thursday, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders lost to the Youngstown Phantoms 4-3 in overtime. Riley Bourbonnais had a high sticking double minor. Chris Bradley had no points or penalties. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=1660222

Bourbonnais' line is now 5-4-2-6-0.
Bradley's line is now 5-0-2-2-2.

Fun game to watch. A couple of miscues allowed Cedar Rapids to tie the game in the third period, but Youngstown pulled it out in OT. Bradley and Bourbonnais did not seem to be out on the ice at the same time very often, but both played often and well. Bradley had time on both PK and powerplay, and hit a couple of posts last night -- still looking for his first goal of the season. Bryan Vines and Nolan Graham stopped in Youngstown to take in the game before heading to South Bend.

That's great. I think that it is the first time that any of our recruits has been on the US team in that tourney.

On Friday, the Vernon Vipers lost to the Penticton Vees 6-2. Mike Zalewski scored both Vernon goals (1 PPG).

Mike Zalewski (2 goals) Was enemy number one tonight for the Penticton Vees. Zalewski who last weekend in Penticton was exchanging words with several Vees players as well as getting into some pushing and shoving matches was doing the exact samething tonight. Zalewski who scored twice was getting involved after the whistle as the Vees looked to be trying to get the Vipers all-star off his game. I thought Zalewski played fairly well this evening, didnt really stand out but played fairly well up front for the Vipers.
