It was dark, it smelled, the ice dimensions were abnormally small, and it was an odd design (hardly any lower seats). There are so many historic facilities I would take over the DECC. Plus my negative comment about the DECC was a reminder to those of how far the Bulldogs have come. I'm guessing 99.9% of Duluth residents would take Amsoil Arena over the DECC. It's an improvement and in pace with Duluth's move from a bottom dweller to an elite contender.
It smelled like history! You're breathing in Brett Hull sweat molecules in there!

          Why?
My guy is a hard-nosed hockey player who is not afraid to crash the net. Your guy is a goon who runs the goalie.

All any one will remember is the WCHA won 6 national championships in those 10 years, and UND choked the hardest, longest, and most convincingly.

The reason for the talent in the west? Because MN didn't rely on Canada.

CC took a "step back?" After the slaughtering of BC and taking NoDak to the brink at the Final 5 last year, I think CC has regained it's dark horse status. I still think that CC is the third best team in the league behind DU and NoDak.

You might be alone in thinking that.
