Per an article in American Junior Hockey News about alumni.

Chris Nutini has signed not only a contract with the Reading Royals of the ECHL, but also a tryout deal (PTO) with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch.

Rock hurt his knee last night in Calgary. Donovan had a lot of ice time. Isles basically played their Bridgeport team against Calgary.

Defenseman Matt Donovan was much more comfortable in his second exhibition game, and he led all Islanders defensemen in time-on-ice (23:28). His four shots made up nearly a third of the team’s shots on net, and he added three blocked shots.

“I felt a little bit better and a lot less nervous than the game against Boston,” Donovan said.

Disappointed with the loss, he said, “We just couldn’t burry the chances that we had.”

DU also picked first in Grand Forks herald coaches poll.

I might try to make it to that game. If not, though, I will poke my head into the scoring thread.

I can't believe no one has put together a "best hits" video compilation for Ryder. That guy CONSISTENTLY puts out some of the best (and legal) hits that I have ever seen from a DU defenseman.

CBS Sports Network to televise @DU_Hockey at Boston College on Friday, Oct. 14. Puck drop changed to 5:35pm MT.

Also all home games not on Root Sports will be streamed live on Pioneer Vision except for the 2/10 game against Minnesota and the 2/24 game against UND. My guess is that these 2 games will be broadcast nationally and will be announced in the future.
