But to get back to what you really were saying, I don't think improving from the season before is necessarily the case. Kennedy won Most Improved his sophomore year, but it wasn't because of what happened his freshman year, one reason was because of his love handles during the offseason (I'm quoting cmmarkham on this one; it's too bad she doesn't grace us with her presence on here very much anymore, I kind of miss her), but he also was getting steadily better the whole year.
Really miss the occassional cmmarkham post also. She added quite a bit to our discussions.

By my definition Most Improved implies from the previous season, but that hasn't been how it has worked. York shared the award with JFK in 08-09 as a frosh. Halpern won it in 07-08. Erik Burgdoerfer shared it in 06-07. http://www.rpiathletics.com/sports/2...8.aspx?id=2862

When people correct me on the board I am thankful that someone steers me out of my ignorance and yes I do have a big ego. Look at all the ink I have gotten in the local press

One of the most sensible posts of this year.

No problem, Ralph. It took me a few minutes to find it, too!

And yes, Kerins won Most Improved last year, in addition to Most Inspirational.

I agree that AAG's quick thinking and stepping up this year (compared to last) definitely shows leadership, and he should get at least an A for next year.

Today is 6 May 2011. There are 148 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 1 October for the start of next season.

That is the day that an exhibition game is supposedly scheduled.

I might add that this was a great team to watch all season long.

    It's not. It's just stating a fact.
