I think everybody at this point is a likely lamb to the Sioux slaughter. From the games I have seen this year, I thought Denver and BC were the 2 that had the talent to knock these guys out. I just don't see the talent anywhere, it is single elimination so anything can happen, but right now the Sioux look near impossible to beat.

Couldn't wait for this exact comment. Yup. It is easier to just accept it'll never happen. But hey, being a Northeastern fan is easier than being a Redskins fan...I think.

Congrats indeed. Perfect game plan by Jackson, instead of trying to out-skate UNH like Miami did, they hunkered down defensively and out worked UNH all night, outside that first 5-6 minutes. I'd say that first TV timeout couldn't have come at a better time for ND. UNH came out flying, I think the shots were 10-1 (unofficially on the scoreboard) at one point (maybe the 1 was the goal, maybe the goal was the 2nd shot, can't remember), and after the TV timeout, ND settled down, got their goal, and took over the game in every way. Hoping to see ND take their first NC, good luck Irish!

Somewhere Barry Melrose is saying "you can walk from Duluth to Minnesota"

He already used that line with UNH and Yale in their respective regionals. As much as I hate UND, a UMD-UND final would be pretty cool.

BTW, Merrimack has to be kicking themselves right now...

Dayton's women's basketball team played in Lowell for the A10 tournament, not sure if that had anything to do with their band playing at Merrimack or not..

Oh they were definitely loud. I could only stay for the 1st period but sat in 119 for that period and they were quite noticeable. Good for them for having a nice turnout (although I was expecting it to be a tad bit larger, probably due to ticket prices).
