Let's hope the boys play the entire game like they really want this-finished with a good third period last night and just need to carry that momentum forward. i don't recall starting a BRF thread ever but it seemed like no one else was doing it today.

Real good third period last night. Merriam saved the day. He was hung out to dry many times last night and came up big. Both goals were off rebounds that went right to an uncovered opponent.
I look forward to watching them live tonight.

Merriam could have used a bit more help last night-some of our defensemen just did not use their size to clear anyone away. There also a couple of incredibly bad lacksadaisical attempts at moving the puck out of the zone that ended up as turnovers that Cornell just did not convert. I was excited by the comeback to tie the game, but for the first two periods not real enthused with our overall play. Thought that Lee, Malchuk, Angers-Goulet would make for an exciting line last night. Rogic just did not fit in as well with the more senior linemates.

kind of surprised that there at least isn't a Gamenotes from rpiathletics as of yet. With Kotyra in Schenectdy last night I was hoping he's not traveling East on 7 today.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Thanks, jericho... let's get a gathering of posters btw the 1st & 2nd periods... we can meet near the goal judge's box on the west end of HFH. (Not sure of compass points? Closer to the HFH main entrance.) I suspect most will be wearing some red...

Not sure if and how often I will be able to check in on the thread tonight-we are at a high school hockey game and may not get back until the RPI game is well underway. Handling the Colgate #1 line is a must and we just have to be incredibly careful when on the power play. They will make us pay for all our mistakes if given the chance. Let's Go Red!!
