Will still check in from time to time, but I'm watching the game on CBS College Sports-Nice to get college hockey out here, especially live!

          Colgate 2, Cornell 0. End of 1st.

          Colgate has been very opportunistic.

Austin Smith beats Ryan again, who hooks him to prevent a shorthanded break. 4 on 4, Colgate PP to come.

As usual TV timeout changes momentum and allows team with the shorter bench to rest its fewer lines. Television negatively changes all sports (except soccer which has resisted TV timeouts).

Cornell gets a PP with 17 seconds left. Cornell calls a timeout. Empty net.

FINAL. Colgate 2, Cornell 1. Rematch tomorrow night @ Starr.

Colgate played a very good game.

Cornell played a very good last 10 minutes of the second period.

The score probably should have been 4-1. Iles was the only Cornellian who really showed up.

Edit: OK, Bardreau and Birch did too. His goal aside, I have no idea what Ryan was thinking half the time tonight.

Bleech. These are the kind of stinkers you just want to get drunk after...
