End result, Maine's loss, Lowells win. One program is tops in league, other is underperforming as usual. I hope Maine gets it going
when did he commit to Maine?
when did Blais offer him a scholarship?

    which one happened first?

i am not 100% certain, but 85% of his first bunch of posts were all about Derek, and games that he played in i njuniors.

just like Icebox posted about his son way before he came to maine... sometimes the dots connect, sometimes they don't.

and for what it's worth... the guy knows what he is talking about... he just writes things that people wish were not true.

could be Serino, it is a guy who clearly knows what is going on at every rink in New England, but i do not know why Serino would be goign to all those junior games, when Malden Catholic is not likely to recruit players away from a Junior team.

Maine first. After Maine changed arrival date and ignored, decommitted and kept playing for Waterloo. Only after that did lowell get in pictur and offer deal. Percentage/number of years had zero to do with it.

Worked out well for player which is most important thing

Hoky, how is Maine underachieving? They're in 5th right now, just like last year, but they're safely in the NCAA tourney as of right now. This is without Nyquist.

Say a prayer for CS. Going for a 14+ hour surgery at Mass General on Wednesday as his cancer came back. He is one of the good guys out there and the hockey community is known for rallying around their members when they are in need.

You are correct, right now they are doing well. Big win at Lowell, bad loss the night before. Walsh didnt leave that program to be a 5th placed, inconsistant team hoping to sneak into the NCAA's through the back door

Their schedule is such that they should be ok. Might even grab a home ice qtr game, at least they should
5 left, 4 vs NE/UMA spells success. UNH at home should be a win as well. Very well could end season on 6-0 run counting Lowell

Umm he didn't leave by choice. Obviously Whitehead is no Shawn Walsh.

Wow.........so now going 5-0 in the last 3 weeks vs. BC, BU and top ranked Lowell is considered "sneaking into the NCAAs through the back door"????

You are a crackpot MOFO, Hokydooche!
