  • Red Bull Event in St Paul MN - Crazy Hockey Event

I know this is a hockey forum but wanted to share. This event is going on in St Paul this weekend watching the news and clips many past male and female hockey players are involved. I attached some video links if you have never seen this you will enjoy. They are expecting a crowd of 50,000.

    From the links joehockey provided:

"I played hockey my whole life," says Amanda Trunzo from Andover. "This is something I can do on skates that I've never done."
Trunzo played at Dartmouth a year ago.

Those who miss qualifying are the lucky ones.

...and the local former Hobey Baker winner moves on the the next round, when multiple skaters take to the course for some head to head competition. I have no idea why but watching this reminds me of the movie "The Running Man" which then makes me wonder if this young event might evolve with contestants eventually are given weapons of their choice to take out the opposition on the way down.

          Okay...never mind.
