Does the winner of this game get to claim the Hudson Valley Belt?

Assuming that three teams are eligible, Army, RPI, and Union, then Union has it since they have defeated both of the other teams this season. If you don't count Union, then you are coerrect.

Knowing his Army historically plays, we can't have any breakdowns like yesterday.

Any win would be positive, but a loss in this game would be just plain awful.
I will not be listening today as I will be on the road home.

I would consider Schenectady to be in the Mohawk Valley, so unless the Hudson drastically shifts course, Union will never be eligible for the Hudson Valley Belt.

I think at one time in the distant past Columbia used to have a hockey team. I wonder if there's a possibility that they might currently be in possession of the belt. If so, I guess possession would be permanent, unless they revive their program and start playing (and losing to) RPI and Army again.

Iona had a team fairly recently. Does New Rochelle count?

BTW, having walked up the approach, I might think that RPI is out of the valley.

If the Hudson drastically shifted course, it would probably wipe out Schenectady anyway. Which would be an improvement.

Now that I look into it, I find that Columbia actually has revived their hockey program. They are now Division III and play in the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference.

Which opens up the possibility that, if they held the Hudson Valley belt at the time their program was previously discontinued, it might now be held by the likes of Fordham or New Paltz.

RPI lineup out. Changes on D, PK & Beef out...5 D-men...Smith as an extra forward http://www.rpiathletics.com/document...my.pdf?id=1169
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.
