      Thanks for posting that JDubbs!

That was a special era for me, we had season tickets, my dad was still alive and best friends with the Woogers (they went to HS together-we grew up in SSP), That crowd was always electric and the Mooch was always packed.. I run into the Woogs from time to time and the conversations always end up being stories of the old barn... You have no idea how badly he wanted Housley back then, being a fellow SSP native, he was Woogs "Broten" of the era...

Still the only MN player (I believe) to go directly from HS hockey to the NHL. And what a rookie year he had. He had committed to the Gophers, but went pro instead. I think we might have another banner hanging in the rafters of the Mooch today had he come.

Looks like a great game and a great place to see a hockey game.

But actually, that MSU goalie, Jason Muzatti, runs a goalie camp here in east lansing, or at least used to when i was in high school. He would ask my Midget travel teams to come and volunteer as shooters so some of us got to do that a few times.

I think we should count it...does that make 6 or 7?

Amen!! Kind of a reverse from last season. But glad they seem to be "adjusting" (not coming out flat on Sat night).

The reason for the talent in the west? Because MN didn't rely on Canada.

Both of them on FSN (Fox Sports North).

                            See the following: http://www.uscho.com/tv/
NMU Hockey Since 1976 ...there at the beginning.

Bill Crawford, LSSU radio announcer, on NMU hockey: "This is their MO right to the tee: get out shot, get out played, keep hangin' in there, just rope-a-dope it in your own zone, get it up the ice, bang it in and win the game."

Unless it's @UAA or @MTU, Gophers games are always on TV.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
