The usual disclaimers apply: I did not make sure this data was correct, I just pulled it off of CollegeHockeyStats.net. Goals scored include empty-net goals, which skew statistics. Teams do not play even schedules (RIT is consistently in the Top-5 in goals per game, but they play against Atlantic Hockey teams). Etc. But, it is what it is. Enjoy.

To be fair, though, you don't seem to be a very good judge of stuff like that. They may have been playing better at the time than you give them credit for.

How else am I to describe the player JL was trying to pass to, and phrase it using proper grammar (i.e. not end my sentence with a preposition)?

You're posting on an internet message board. You wouldn't be the only person using improper grammar.

I will freely admit that. I haven't played hockey since I was 7, and it was pick-up games on the town outdoor rink. However, given the situation I presented, the opportunity would have resulted in an easy goal at 85% certainty.

I have standards. I realize our priorities are not in agreement.

That is not a reward. If you find it to be such, I have to start suspecting that you're a troll.

Well known fact-as we age, our participles do tend to dangle more.
