Weaver's article for this weekend (http://www.troyrecord.com/articles/2011/12/02/sports/doc4ed8734150107395831556.txt?viewmode=fullstory).

No mention of Cullen or Neal's injury status.

He talks about the offensive turnaround but ladles in plenty of skepticism and caution.

Probably should go on ticket thread but doubt anyone reads it. Late decision not to go to Packers/Giants game Sunday and have 4 tix in Mezzanine if anyone is interested. Have a couple other feelers out thers so let me know by email if interested. Face value. Not looking to make anything on this. Thanks.

Perhaps also try in the Café on the NFL thread if you don't get takers here?

That was the first thing that I looked for too. I don't expect to see them.

Big Mike was hockey's Bobby Knight. He was a winner though.

This is Big Mike and not Fat Mike. Fat Mike is hockey's Tom Izzo.

By the way, speaking of Fat Mike, there were some who complained about the continuing use of the term after he lost a little weight... yeah, don't worry about that anymore, I saw him at the BU game.

He talks about the offensive turnaround but ladles in plenty of skepticism and caution. Talking with Patty Cullen after the RIT game he said he should be fine for this weekend. A player's optimism? Didn't see Neal. If PC is ready to go who comes out? Tinordi, McGowan (who centered his line @ RIT)?

Guess: McGowan

In Ken Schott's weekly interview & preview (http://www.dailygazette.com/videos/2011/dec/01/900/) with Appert (also ft. Nick Bailen) Coach says that Neal is out, for quite a while, definitely won't play before Christmas.

That has been a major concern for me. If this is indeed all ankle iinjury-then one has to think about stability of that joint. Ankle injuries can look bad at first and turn out to be very mild-but the opposite is also likely. What may have seemed originally to be a minor ankle strain/sprain may have turned out to be a nagging season long problem. Since we do not know how this happened or even what happened, I can only guess the latter situation. Let's just hope we can get him back healthy soon. He will be a great help to the offense of this team.

Cullen steps in his place: http://www.rpiathletics.com/documents/2011/12/2/2011-12MHKYLineChart_Princeton.pdf?id=1148

The B.R.O. is also in there. It looks like Guy lost his slot in practice.

Hopefully with Haggs, it's just an illness (it is flu season, after all) and not an injury... From what I remember, he's not on the short list for the national team, correct?

Yeah, it's not like it was the umpteen stupid penalties he's taken in games or anything.

Can only hope this is a one game sort of thing. We were anxious to get a chance to see him out on the ice tonight. The rest of the forwards will just have to step it up and provide the offense necessary. Go Red!!

I don't remember those, but I do remember him sitting out the SLU game and us going with 13 forwards.

Was that a slot lost in practice?

Good point. However, we cannot discount the Yale, Brown, or Union games.

Wasn't Bergin the one who had a lot of penalties recently, some of which seemed stupid?

You're right. So clearly, we should just make a declaration like "Guy lost his spot in practice."

Darn. The day our offense finally wakes up, the D takes the night off.
