  • RPI @ SLU: Saturday, Nov. 5th

Let's lace 'em up and earn our split on this trip with a win against SLU. Sounds like SLU played a pretty solid game against Union. We'll have to play hard to earn our win against SLU. We can play better tonight and really take it to them... let's play our game!
    Here we come!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I was totally unprepared for last nights performance.
Maybe with the good father starting this thread we can get some guidance from above in tonights game.

        I feel like I'm going through, "Ground Hog Day".......wakeup/loose 4-1....wakeup/loose 4-1......wakeup/loose 4-1
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

I'm going to the game tonight. I was at the one where we beat Mankato.

I'm also hitting up both games next weekend. If we are 3-1 in league play, I will reconsider my decision to not go to games.

Lines for today are posted here. We're dressing 13 forwards and only 5 d. I guess we REALLY want to score!

So Burgdoerfer and Smith are in for Leboeuf and McGowan.

In for Leboeuf and Tinordi--McGowan is there, on O'Grady's line.

I rarely seem to be able to do that correctly.

Re: RPI @ SLU: Saturday, Nov. 5th

Skating 5 D is a tad risky-if one D man gets the thumb from J Murphy we could be a very tired defense corps. Last night we just did not play well or make intelligent decisions in the second period and most of the third. We will have to be much sharper to earn a victory on the road tonight. Plus we cannot take 30+ minutes in penalties against any team. Go Red!

I guess that LC isn't along on the trip.

The women Engineers lost 2-1 to Clarkson this afternoon at HFH, to go 0-3-1 in conference play. Meanwhile, Union pulled off a second stunner, tieing SLU 2-2, to pick up three points this weekend against the same opponents that swept RPI. If the Engineers don't find some offence (now 3 goals in 4 games) its goinng to be a long winter.

Down 2-0 with 5min. left and RPI going on the PP Coach Burke pulled the goalie.....and they scored!
