Re: Wisconsin Hockey: Vol. XX - Growth Through Experience
Entertaining game last night. The effort was there! I never really focused on Paape until last night; I like the kid. He's fast as hell with a high RPM engine. Rumpel seems to be settling in and obviously has taken over the #1 spot.
RE: the crowd; it was a pretty good crowd (I didn't hear the attendance) with a lot of little kids there, which I don't have a problem with. The more hockey fans the better. There were 2 families next to me who were new to a Badger game. Their kids were following the cheers with me while their parents just looked on! My daughter told me I fit right in with the kids who were "--" years my junior.
However, I do agree with Tim that the fans are QUIET. I never thought I'd see the day that an animated figure comes on the scoreboard and asks for noise.
Bring on The North Dakota Fighting *****.
EDIT: Do we really have to hear Roll out the Barrel 25 times in a row? 3 or 4 times is funny, after that, annoying.
