DU injury update from Mike Chambers at Denver Post

University of Denver sophomore Beau Bennett practiced Monday and could return to the lineup when the Pioneers host defending NCAA champion Minnesota-Duluth for a two-game series this weekend.
"Beau did skate and participate in some of the drills, and he's moving real well," DU coach George Gwozdecky said.
Gwozdecky said DU goalie Adam Murray, who was pulled early in last Friday's game because of an upper-body injury, did not practice Monday and is questionable for this weekend.

Per Chambers, looks like both goalies will get a start this weekend.
“We got a goaltending controversy. We’re like the Broncos!” Gwozdecky joked. “They might rotate, yeah.”
Bennett's cut has healed but he lacks strength in his wrist. He will be a game day decision.

There is a website called "IsItOld.com", where you can check whether jokes or cultural references are stale. CCTigger's whole dialogue is listed there. I'm getting bored just talking about it.

Although I wish Murray would have achieved "A" goalie status by now, Olki deserves some starts. Too bad about Bennett's injury. We need him out there.

This will be an excellent weekend of hockey. Both teams have something to prove and will come in hungry. Like Vizoroo said the offense is in serious flux, no more so than on the PP. This is the PP that preseason was highly praised. Lots of clutching of sticks and individual effort leading to little or no production of late. I suspect that once the lines settle down things will improve. To tell you the truth, I'd be happy with two fundamentally sound efforts at this point. Need to stop taking stupid *** penalties.

Tech did an impressive job of the forecheck last weekend. I'm sure t reining champs will work that as well.
                Go Pioneers!

I don't understand why I keep reading that the Bulldogs are "in trouble" or "need to get it together". We lost a game against Notre Dame, who was number 1 at the time, and lost a series against the gophers where we easily could have, and probably should have, won both games. Ahh end rant.

You're right. Your #1 goalie having a save percentage under .900 and a GA over 2.5 is no reason for concern.

Haha, of course, when the gophers start to do well, all their d0uchebag fans have to come out of the woodwork.

I'm not sure how pointing out why your team should be concerned, when you asked, relates to who I root for.

Am I wrong about your goaltending and to some extent the defense in front of him being a concern?

Yes, you are. If you got rid of your gophercentric mindset for a day or two and paid attention to other teams besides your own, you would know that.
