      redhead18,

Do you have the Gunnery's result from Sunday? Also, if possible, could you post their schedule.

Some metion of Jake Wood per USHR (Still no scheudle):

5:00 pm -- Gunnery 7, Cushing 4: This one was a good, high-tempo game -- fun to watch -- between a couple of schools that will contend for the prep crown this season. Early on, Cushing took a 2-0 lead on goals by senior Collin Bourque and new sophomore Shane Eiserman, but before the first half was over Gunnery -- on goals by new soph Laythe Jadallah and senior Jake Wood -- had tied it at 2-2. Early in the second half Gunnery twice took the lead, on goals by junior Marc Cibelli and senior Andrew Graham, only to see Cushing twice answer with tying goals -- from junior Logan Garst and Bourque. However, Cushing, was never able to gain another lead. Midway through the second half, with the game tied at 4-4, Gunnery took over, scoring three quick -- and consecutive -- goals en route to a 7-4 win. Jadallah first, then Wood, then junior Anthony Bird with the game's final tally. Three players had two goals apiece -- Gunnery's Wood, Gunnery soph Laythe Jadallah, and Cushing senior Collin Bourque -- and those are our three stars. Senior Chad Hardy (2 ga) played the first half in net for Cushing; senior Liam Moorfield-Yee (5 ga) played the second half. For Gunnery, junior Anton Frondelius (2 ga) played the first half; junior Dawson Sprigings (2 ga) played the second half. The difference in this game was the fact that Gunnery never took their foot off the gas, never stopped moving their feet -- and goaltending.

Thanks greatly. Does that mean that Wood's line is 1-2-0-2-0, or are the cumulative stats not posted?

When you go to the Gunnery page, there is no info for schedule & team stats so I'm not sure on that one. I think the Gunnery staff is just slow in getting USHR the team information so that USHR can start to compile.

Thanks. I assume that they will eventually because they did last year.

FWIW, the games at this weekends Yale Prep Showcase were all classified as scrimmages with 35 minute running time halves. All of USHR's comments on the scoring are unofficial. Not sure if you were planning on including scrimmages with Wood's season line.

Theres quite a few schools that have submitted schedules to date so ill try to piece together a Gunnery schedule for the time being until they post one.

If it was a scrimmage then, no. Let's go with whatever USHR does when they start compiling stats.

Saw this link posted in the RIT thread to an article mentioning Bourbonnais.

                      http://www.democratandchronicle.com/...Ctext%7CSports

Bourbonnais plays for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL. He narrowed his collegiate choices to RPI and RIT before committing to the Engineers. RIT's inability to offer an athletic scholarship played into his decision.

"I liked both schools but they gave me a full scholarship so that worked out well for me and my parents," Bourbonnais said. "They've got a growing program and it's exciting to be part of that."

Bourbonnais' father, John, played on RIT's 1984-85 NCAA Division III championship hockey team.

"It would have been nice to see him go to RIT," John Bourbonnais said, "but it was tough for him to turn down RPI."

And we lost legacy Josh Jooris to Union, who could offer a wink-wink scholarship, under similar circumstances.
