      Former Denver player, Corey Carlson, his Wife, and 2 daughters were killed after his Cessna - 180 suffered a mid-air collision Saturday afternoon.

        Thanks, a sad day for the DU family. Corey was a forward who played from the 1989/90 to 1991/92 seasons, missed the 1992/93 season and finished his career in 1993/94. He had 23 goals and 42 assists for 65 points in 105 games.

            I am so sorry to hear this. For some reason I don't remember him, (well actually I can think of a few reasons), who would have been his linemates or notable teammates?

              I believe he came in the same class as Ryan O'Leary and Bryan Schoen ('89, I believe), plus a couple others (Podiak might ring a bell, though he finished as a student manager)...Carlson was 5'9 or 5'10 and 170'ish, a pretty good player on some not-so-good DU teams, who had a few injuries during his time at DU.

                As a potential point of conversation, can anybody tell me how great this Finnish goaltender is going to be and that the injury to Brittain is not going to ruin our lives???

                  East Grand Forks defenseman Gage Ausmus has given a verbal commitment to DU. He also visited North Dakota, Duluth, and Minnesota.

                                Jason Zucker, Nick Shore and Scott Mayfield will all be at the U-20 tryout camp in Lake Placid that starts tomorrow. Nick is on Team Blue and Jason and Scott are on Team White.
