Re: Who won coach of the Year
I think it is supposed to be announced after the F4 and awarded at the convention.. though could be wrong on that.
I'm biased towards a certain ECAC coach, but think Sandelin is richly deserving given this past weekend.UNIONNY HOCKEY - Not in Kentucky anymore..

They guys who deserves to win it wasn't even a finalist. How do they expect us to throw hotdogs at the gophers with that [Expletive deleted] net in front of us?

Congrats to Coach Leaman."Hockey is the only tribe I belong to." --Jack Falla
"Why, as a matter of fact, I suggested starting a hockey program to Father Callahan, our president. He was downright interested until we came to the use of sticks, and then he threw up his hands. He said, 'No, that game is not for our University. Notre Dame will never endorse any game that puts a club in the hands of an Irishman.' " -- Knute Rockne: All American

Re: Who won coach of the Year
Jeff Blashill of WMU got kinda ripped off.. they went 19-13-10 from 8-20-8 and had a pretty strong showing in the CCHA tournament and had a good showing against Denver. However, congratulations to Coach Leaman on a great year and he definitely deserved the award as well.

I'd give it to Western michigan's coach
other notables
Dean Blais
George Gwozdecky (best "rebuilding year" in a while although ran into the sioux buzzsaw to stop them from getting trophies)
also Merrimack's coach (where did they come from "who are these guys")
Also Union's coachI'm the guy with the gold jersey in Magness, who is probably drunk or at least getting in trouble for obscene cheers.
