Re: Boston College Hockey 2010-2011, Part III - Championship Season Has Begun
I haven't read through this whole thread so maybe this was said already: some serious props should be going out to John Muse for a remarkable college career. I don't recall him coming to BC with much fanfare (certainly not as much as Schneider) but he sure came through for you guys again and again. Also, any word Kreider? The Rangers need him ... now.
As a fan, it's hard to say if the team was overconfident. They certainly had plenty of reasons to believe they would win. Getting down 3-1 and then 4-1 put them in unfamiliar territory.
IMO they didn't come ready to play and were obviously outplayed as a result. Hard lesson to learn but hopefully some of the underclassmen will return with a resolve. Thanks for an exciting season again.

The Rangers are going to put pressure on him, they want him in their system ala Stepan, etc. But word is he isn't leaving.
Ever to Excel..............and kudos to all my fellow Eagle fans on handling the loss with dignity and class.............no one else is going to say it so i did. on a similar note it seems like almost all of the "congrats to Mack on their season" posts on their thread are from Eagle fans. Bravo! we are who we are not who they think we are

I still think it's hard to say they didn't come ready to play. You could be right, it's just uncharacteristic of them. Maybe something changed when BC scored the early goal...just gotta give credit to CC. Rather young team didn't get phased by it and took it to BC. The one thing I'll say is it certainly appeared BC was not prepared for CC's top line.
