But if you look @ the support chart, the record vs. ranked teams does not compute.

One example - but if one is off, it throws the whole table in doubt...
Fitchburg St. Listed as 2-2-0 on RvRO but they were 1-2-0 vs. Salem St and Mass-Dartmouth which would make it 2-4-0.

Weird, because this is what I see when I go to the site:

EDIT: Looks fixed now. Must have been a strange glitch.

What's with the tie for 15th in the East?

It's not really a tie. If you go to the site and look at the rankings, the formatting is messed up. The ranking and teams are on different lines. So shift all of the teams up one line and that's where they should be.

My bad. I see that now. Nonetheless, it's interesting to see 11-9-2 Colby ranked over a team or two that club it in a comparison. Then again, it does add a ranked win for Norwich and a ranked loss for Castleton.

            Code:
                Colby vs Manhattanville
            WIN 0.5455 0 0.5800 1

Maybe. Depends if the once-ranked-always-ranked is back in play or not. I haven't bothered to fully check on that...yet...but has anyone confirmed that one either way?

It's in the NCAA Handbook that it's once ranked always ranked. It was not in the handbook last year. Therefore, I have no reason to believe the handbook is incorrect. That said, I have no heard from anyone involved whether it's true or not. Based on the handbook I have to assume it is back, why else would it be in there?

I'm not saying it is or it isn't being followed. But, if it was being followed, wouldn't it make sense if they listed all the teams that have been ranked before in the poll the following week? (Even if they may have dropped out of the top 15 for the East)

                        Because they are the NCAA

It never made sense to me not to use once ranked always ranked, because if you played a ranked you had already beaten knocked them out of the ratings you hurt your profile with that win. (Of course losing to them hurt you too - basically having them on your playoff schedule hurt you)

By the NCAA data Norwich still has 4 ranked losses (Platts X 2, Castleton, and Manhattanville), so I'd guess it is

Some of you have complained about my comparisons of RvRO for Salem against other schools because SSU while having an RvRO of 2-1-0 was a great percentage, it paled against other school's quantity.

Well, with the inclusion of UMD and Colby in the rankings, Salem now has a 5-2-0 RVRO. Are 7 games enough??

Sadly, no. But I am wondering what they are burning to cause the smoke in the room. If it was on the eastern side of the Lake, there would be no doubt. On the western side, I'm not so sure.
