A question for those in the know...
With the WCHA's past record of presenting the Cup on home ice only the last few years and the possibility of a tie for first and the ability to get to present the Cup twice, will the WCHA Give the Sioux the trophy today if they beat Bemidji even if they have only assured themselves a share of it? When the Sioux won it 2 years ago in Wisconsin on the last weekend of the season, they waited untill the first round to give it to them. but if they tie this year, then when would they present it to the other team? or would the cup go to tech next week since the Sioux still have the best chance of being the outright winners? It would be nice for the Michigan Tech fans to get to see their own trophy once every few decades or so...

The Cup will NOT be presented today if North Dakota wins. I'm really not sure why. They typically present it on home ice, but they do so even if they share the cup (see Denver/CC in '05 for our most recent example). That being said, they aren't going to present it at Tech either. It will be presented to North Dakota (assuming they can win one of their final three games) AFTER their first round series is over (similar to '09).
