  • Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday 2/26

Tonight's the last regular season game, and in the ECACHL, it usually means things are up for grabs. The Cleary Cup is still to be decided, and so is 4th place...

Red can claim a 4th place bye with a win v Qunnipiac, and the two Cleary contenders win their games. GO RED! Red needs to come up big on a big Saturday night.
    Here we come!

Which RPI team shows up? The friday night flub or the saturday spectacular? We need a lot of help to finish with a bye in 4th-but we have to do our part first. Let's finish the regualr season on a high note-a big win and let the chips fall where they may. Let's Go Red!!

Listening to the post game interview it sounded like Appert wasn't to happy about his defense men and his seniors. I'm sure it's not going to sit well with them, given nobody likes to be called out, and it's senior night. I think RPI will come out strong tonight and play the game they need to play. Go Red!

passing needs to be much improved...better than half their passes were either in the skates or behind the skater (which led to the shorty) last night. I thought Bergin played a really good game considering the time he'd missed. Wasn't their typical Fri. night game but it was a game that needed to be won. First half of the 3rd. it looked like we were just trying survive. As I said to realet, "this is the way a team plays when they have a late lead", in regards to PU. Obviously a must win tonight for a bye and 20 wins, which we probably all thought was a lock 1-2 months ago. Great to see Tinordi with 1st goal. He had some bone crunching hits but I worry that with the way games are re*** today he'll soon gain a reputation and we'll see more boarding calls go against him.

Fr. please tell me you have a special prayer for the situation you describe above?

Just a reminder that we will have he women's game on WRPI. The radio tower is back up, so you will be able to listen over the air if you are local.

It has been a long time since I missed a senior night, but I am in Boston, and will only be here listening to wrpi tonight.

lines are out...surprised Tinordi is out, although he did come off limping late in the 2nd last night http://www.rpiathletics.com/document...910.pdf?id=956

Not sure I understand sitting Koudys or Tinordi-but injuries or illness may be playing a role. Defensive pairings will be critical-QU had some clean breakaways against us in the previous meeting and a few odd man ruhes. We have got to find the way back to our defensive style that won for us earlier in the season and at the same time manufacture some early scoring. I would doubt we will take as few penalties as we did last night so special teams will again be the key. Let's Go Red!!

Koudys gave Princeton their second goal last night. He did not play as well as he had in previous games.
